Webelos Woods

Webelos Woods is a camp out at Gilbert Ranch near Scotts Mills for 4th and 5th graders on October 8th and 9th. It's an overnight camp where the boys will learn some basic Boy Scout skills. Dominic and I are going to try to make it. It's only $10 per person(meals included). The event is hosted by the Boy Scouts to encourage Webelos to continue on with scouting. It sounds like a lot of fun. Let me know if you are interested.

Scouts Begin Oct. 7th

Cub Scouts will be starting before you know it. The first Pack Meeting is October 7th at 6:30pm. We want the boys to wear either their Cub Scout uniforms or their Beverly Beach shirts to school that day. During the meeting our den will be doing a skit that we will rehearse at the meeting.

Thursday, Oct. 21 6:45pm is our first Den Meeting at Candalaria.

Sunday, Oct. 24th, is the Candalaria Cleanup at noon at the school. Bring your tools. We'll do a cleanup then play some games and have a BBQ.

Den meetings will be the 3rd Thursday each month at Candalaria. We will also have Den field trips each month.

Their is a Webelo camp out Oct. 8-9 in Scotts Mills. I'll let you know more details when I hear back from one of the planners.
